Save the date for the 2020 Kansas City Live Endoscopy Course to be held August 14-15, 2020.

Hands-on workshop on Friday, August 14, 2020:
Participants will familiarize themselves with various endoscopic tools and therapeutic endoscopy techniques in this unique, interactive course. Expert faculty will demonstrate selected endoscopic instruments and methods, including: endoscopic mucosal resection; Barrett’s ablation; hemostasis; endoscopic clipping; cholangioscopy; stenting; suturing, advanced imaging systems, esophageal manometry, among others. Through active participation and small-group discussions, participants will fuse theory and practice under the supervision of leading experts. Best practices and procedures will be discussed and shared throughout. Participants will have opportunities to perform new skills and receive feedback from both their peers and course instructors. This session will be open to all participants, including gastroenterologists, trainees, nurses, and health technicians.

Live Endoscopy course on Saturday, August 15, 2020:
The purpose of this course is to provide a state-of-the-art update on advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy to healthcare professionals in the Greater Midwest Region. Renowned faculty will speak on current topics in GI and Hepatology and attendees will learn new methods and concepts that can be incorporated into their clinical practice. Basic and advanced techniques in therapeutic endoscopy will be reviewed by experts in the field through a series of didactic lectures, video forums, and live endoscopy cases.
